Soccer Elite Goalkeeper Academy

Here at the Soccer Elite Goalkeeper Academy we aim to give every keeper the opportunity to develop as goalkeepers through technical input but also enjoy their role as a goalkeeper by incorporating a lot of fun games and drills into our goalkeeper sessions.

Sessions are run by Scott Chalmers-Stevens Margate goalkeeper whose previous clubs include Watford FC, Rushden & Diamonds FC & Mansfield Town. Scott has worked with top goalkeeper coaches Kevin Hitchcock ex Chelsea and Kevin Pressman ex Sheffield Wednesday and has gained valuable experience in the game.

Each week we concentrate on a particular aspect of goalkeeping including –

• Handling                             

• Kicking

• Positioning

• One v Ones

• Angles

• Shot Stopping

• Footwork

• Crosses/Punching

• Diving

• Set Pieces

• Goalkeeper psychology

• Agility/Speed/Conditioning

 Sessions run every Friday at Maplesden Noakes School in Maidstone on their fantastic new 3G ( third generation ) which runs alongside our Soccer Elite FA Advanced Academy where goalkeepers will be involved in games and given the opportunity to be watched in a game situation as well as training, and if selected will be given the chance to represent our Academy against professional teams such as Arsenal & Chelsea.

We also offer One to One training sessions for goalkeepers that wish to have personal training sessions. These sessions are specifically designed around you, working on strengths and weaknesses in your game including a personal training program and assessment every 6 weeks. We work with all ages and abilities at different levels helping produce top quality goalkeepers across Kent.

 Scott has recently been asked by the Kent County Schools Football Association to coach all of their Goal Keepers which is a massive achievment.  Well done Scott

  Advanced Academy , Maplesden Noakes School ( 3G facility ) 

U7's - U11's 6:30 - 8pm    &    U12's - U18's 8 - 9:30pm
