Welcome to the Soccer Elite FA Girls Academy.
Soccer Elite Girls Academy has been in operation since October 2006 and has proven to be highly successful. It is aimed at giving every player the opportunity to develop their technical ability, confidence and fitness. Within the sessions we concentrate on developing various aspects such as passing, shooting, dribbling as well as physical fitness.
Here are some of the stars of the Girls Academy
Sessions are co-ordinated by Danni Farmer who currently plays in the Women’s Premier League for Charlton Athletic. She has previously played for Fulham Ladies and has represented England U21’s. With her wealth of experience and contacts in the game, committed players will have the opportunity to play friendly matches against professional opposition where they can show off what they have learnt in the Soccer Elite FA sessions.

We hope that in giving the girls this opportunity, they will be able to grasp an understanding of the standards that need to be reached in order to progress further in the sport, and give us a benchmark of what we need to work towards. It is hoped that a number of the girls will progress in being signed for a professional club. We aim to build the academy into a successful girls’ setup by having teams from U8’s through to U18’s and creating stars of the future.
Women’s football is the fastest growing, and most participated female sport in the country and our academy can only improve the development of the game and help young girls get a head start into what is looking a fantastic future for the sport.
